Laura Ashley is one of my favourite home ware stores. They have a vast range of accessories to create a gorgeous girly, vintage, traditionally English and yet somewhat French chic feel to any room along with a huge selection of wallpapers, rugs and paints.
In 2012 Laura Ashley bought a hotel and ventured into the a new business realm. The hotel titled The Manor is based in Elstree, Hertfordshire and is surrounded by a large 10 acres of land. There are 49 rooms as well as a fine dining restaurant, wedding and conference facilities and of course the gardens.
Each room has been designed and fitted out by the Laura Ashley design team so as you can imagine it is a gorgeous place to stay and a Laura Ashley lovers dream....I know where I am going for my next birthday.
The rooms are a mixture of standard double bedrooms right up to vast suites so there is something for everyone.
The gardens contain a fountain, rose garden, topiary garden and even a giant chessboard/ checker board. Plenty to walk around and see and right on the outskirts of London.
