Lifestyle ~ Weekend in Bath

Hello Everyone,

Back in April on Easter weekend me and my boyfriend Dan went away for the weekend to bath.  We had an amazing time and stayed in a beautiful hotel with the most amazing views across the hills and countryside.  Whilst browsing through our photos I thought it would be nice to do a bit of a different post and share with you some of my favorites.  I hope you enjoy this post as it is a little different to what I would normally do.

We stayed in a place called Rudloe Arms which was about a 15 minute drive outside of Bath town centre and we loved it.  Its owned by Marco Pierre White the chef and was just a lovely mixture of modern, shabby chic and unusual accessories.  We ate in the restuarant on both nights and the food was incredible.

We had a really impressive room, it was one of the hotels suites in a seperate building to the main hotel.  We had a spacious living room area with an open plan arch way into the bedroom which was again really spacious.  The bathroom was on-suite to the bedroom and had a lovely mirror with lights all around it.  We also had a lovely kitchen area which was a lovely extra to have and we would have put it to good use if we had been staying for longer.

We went for 2 nights in total and had an amazing time.  We spent the first day just wandering round, we saw Bath Abbey and had a wonder round the beautiful countryside.  We sat in the garden at the hotel and had a few drinks before getting ready for dinner.  One the second day we got up early and went shopping.  I treated myself to a few things including a new handbag and a Jo Malone candle.  We then went to a gorgeous National Trust village called Lacock and had a wander round there even though it was tiny.  It was the most picturesque little village and we even managed to get an ice cream from an ice cream van.  We then headed back to the hotel for a couple of hours of chilling out time before heading out to dinner again.

Over all we had an amazing relaxed weekend and it was so nice to spend some time together without the worries and stresses of every day life and I can't wait for our next weekend away in July.

Thanks for reading,

Let me know if you enjoy this type of blog post.

Speak Soon,

Natalie xoxo
